Because it seemed a bit too good to be true, I placed my order over the phone, and specifically asked the customer service person about this deal, since when I went online and put it in my cart, it didn't display the free offer... which at that time, I assumed to be immediate and would arrive with my purchase. He acknowledged that it didn't appear in the cart, but that the item was in fact free.
As it turns out, it didn't arrive with my purchase, and after investigating the page further, it turns out that it's a rebate offer. As I'm filling out the paperwork (and after I defaced by box by removing the UPC code!), I realize that I needed to buy not one, but THREE products on the list to receive the free MicroTrack II.
This is something that needs to be addressed! They put "free" in red letters next to every search item, and at the top of the pages, but don't do a good job of explaining the details ... even after being contacted and questioned over the phone.
