American Poets Society ripoff Baltimore Maryland
To whom it may concern, this poetry site is a scam. Last year in july I wrote a poem about a child who dissappeared in 1991. I really treasured that poem for a couple of reasons
1. because I had poured everything I had with in me to solve this case.
2. I wanted to give this child a voice.
3. I wanted his mother to know that after all these years some one still cared about what happened to her son
I recieved notice I had won the contest and sent money to receive a plaque and the book with my poem published but as of today may 19 2005 I still haven't recieved anything.You I was going to give either the plaque or the book to this childs mother.
A lot of emotion went into writting that poem, not only that but by the time I was finished with it I felt like those were his words, he was telling the story behind what had happened as he saw it unfold through his eyes.
And as of today this family of the missing child has gone through two more nightmares and I thought it was about time some step up to the plate and say enough is enough, no more.some one needed to do something really nice for them. But it seems I have failed in my mission.
this company took something that was so dear to me and discarded it like it had never meant nothing. So now what am I suppose to do????
