America's Choice/Florida Door Co. Charged me $271 more than their normal price ripoff garage door Jacksonville Florida
On 9-26-03 I called America's Choice/Florida Door Co., 14286-19 Beach Blvd., Suite 399, Jax, Fl, 904-998-0200 to have the springs on my garage door replaced. I'm sorry to say I didn't get a quote. They came out that day and replaced them. I gave them a check for $556.95, which included $100.00 to also replace the rollers. The price seemed high and it has been bothering me ever since.
I called them today to get a quote. They quoted $185.00. Three other companies I called today quoted $159, $179, & $199. I asked the manager at America's Choice why I had been overcharged $271.95. He had no explanation other than "Buyers Remorse" and would only offer a refund of the $29.95 service call.
