America's Best Contact And Eye Glasses Refund check in 7 year old daughters name?? Saint Louis Missouri
At the end of March of this year , I brought my 7 year old daughter to America's Best Contact and Eye Glasses to take advantage of their sale on kids glasses. I purchased 2 pairs of eyeglasses. I received a phone call a week later saying one of the pairs were discontinued!!! Why were there discontued glasses on the shelf??? So anyway I was told I could get a partial refund...no problem...I went in to the store and recieved a "refund receipt" saying any refund over $20.00 has to be mailed to you from the Corporate Office.
I waited patiently almost 2 weeks for my refund check. When I called the corporate office to what the hold up was, it was noted that the address in the system was incorrect!! No one verified my address with me at the time my "Refund Reciept " was issued to me. When I finally got the address issued cleared up, I received the refund check in the mail a week later ona Friday evening.
To no surprise, the check was made out to my 7 year old daughter!! What!! She's 7, she can't even write in cursive to sign a check!!! Now I have to wait over the weekend before I can talk to someone about my refund check. On top of the fact it's going to take them another week or so for the correct check to come back!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN, AND I ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME, IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY!
