I was contacted by American Health Brokerage regarding an insurance quote. They wanted me to pay $228.00 + a one time enrollment fee of $99.00 for my first monthly premium. I ask could they send me an email with everything that was included in my coverage and I would look over it. His response was that he couldn't send me anything. He said that he had just went over everything that was included in my policy. He said that I should trust him and go ahead and let him take $327.00 from my bank account and then he would send me a copy of my benefits. I told him that I wanted to see everything in writing and then I would make a decision. He said I could get a full refund if I wasn't satisfied with my coverage. I said in the meantime what if something unforeseen happened and I was hospitalized only to find out later that my coverage wasn't what I had been told. He got very upset with me when I had reservations. He acted as if he were appalled that I didn't trust him. I told him trust was a two way street and that he shouldn't expect me to give him my money without giving me something in writing and he said that wasn't how insurance worked and it was to complicated for me to understand when reading it myself and that was why he had went over everything with me so I wouldn't be confused about anything. (I suppose I'm to ignorant to read something and comprehend what I'm reading.) These people definitely have something to hide or they wouldn't care to provide you with a copy of the coverage that you are purchasing and they wouldn't get so upset when you asked for it. They would have you buy a pig in a poke as the old saying goes. "Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining" is also a saying that comes to mind. Obviously I didn't purchase insurance from American Health Brokerage and I highly recommend that no one else does either. Just my opinion of course.

What the ex-employee had to say happened exactly as he said,to me! I was lied to from the very start, pushed to take this policy before getting offers from other companies and then got took for $328! I'm disabled, they knew it and still ripped me off! I paid to be a member but I'm not one so getting my money back will be close to impossible although my bank withdrawl has their name on it.
Glad it's working for you but they took money from me I couldn't afford to lose!

I was involved in this company at the same time as this gentlemen. I left after him for relocation reasons, I was treated as he was until his incident as a valuable member of the team. The slander in his post is very disconcerting, even if the information listed where true. The people he is referencing as bad people are not, some where not even with the company any longer between his departure and mine. I find it odd that his "personal issues" were reflected against the company. This just seems so unprofessional and lacks class, to slander someone online who is innocent, using their entire name. The only thing missing was the persons address and phone number. I find it rude and out of order, so I took a moment to respond. As far as the company goes, I still have their insurance, it works well with no issue. We need to concentrate on the real problems, sites like this serve a purpose, but not when people are allowed to spread rumors and propaganda because they got fired for their own reasons. Which if I am not mistaken had something to do with exactly what he is accusing others of. This is sad.
