Americas Servicing Company charged me for insurance that i already have through my own insurance co Newark New Jersey
i noticed i was paying an extra 120 per month on my mortgage.I called asc to see why they said it was for escrow on insurance.I told them i have insurance i hade to pay one year in advance in order for option one mortgage to finance me.so they said send me a declaration page.so I did faxed and mailed it.i called to see if they recieved my fax and mail and i was told yes they were in vestigating itcould take 30 days ok no problem right wrong.
after thirty days my mortage was still high. so i called they said they hadent recieved my decloration paper they saw i called before but was no file issued.so i started a new file again only i got my insurance co involved this time they called for me and faxed papers showing my proof of insurance.
to make a long story short after on year of calling and faxing proof i still pay this escrow of insurance.but now they say its becouse option one mortgage stoped payment on my second mortgage or something like that. to this day i dont know what i am paying for but im a first time home buyer with know idea whats wright or wrong.ps i also got stuck with the previous owners taxes which i hade to add to my mortgage bring my payments to 1900.00 per month on a 168000 dollare house im being screwed what can i do

ASC also charged me for insurance I already have. 14 months later still Can't get resolution!

ASC escrows money for insurance that I don't need and I keep mailing and faxing and my insurance keeps mailing and faxing proof of insurance. We have even mailed with return receipt and they signed for it and they still say they have no proof of insurance. I think it is a scam on purpose and I think a class action lawsuit will dig up thousands of people who have been ripped off in the same way.
