America's Transmission ripped me off for almost 10,000.00 Houston Texas
Salvador was suppose to rebuild me a transmission with a lifetime warranty, but I would be responsible for parts after 12 months and he charged me $6,070.65 on 11-25-2013. The check engin light came on in sept od 2014 and I took it to a mechanic who told me that I needed a new transmission so I took it to a transmission shop that also told me the same thing but the would no even try to fix my truck because the said that salvador had taken money for the work and that he needed to fix it so I took my truck back to him Octeber 10 2014 and he charged me another $2,950.00 for repairs to the transmission that he had given me a lifetime warranty on, stating that it wasn't for labor but parts that should have been covered for at least 12 months. I got my truck back on November 1 2014 and in December of 2014 my check engine light came on again and I took it to a mechanic that told me that I would need a new transmission and recommended that I get my money back from salvador because he has not done the work that he charged me for. I have kids in college and my husband is a disabled veteran we don't have money to give away and I can't afford a new car right now so I need this on to last me a little while longer. Please help me and help to keep anyone else from going through the same thing.
