Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My store manager was told that I had to comply with the new chip technology or face up to $25,000.00 per noncompliance in fines. I had a rep come by that promised an advantageous, compliant, international, (USA & Canada) credit card processing program. Our mix is through setting up at events, phone orders, and typical in-store. So they traded machines for the in-store and events.

We used a workable Square swipe for events before then, and still today. It works!  I was told both machines were included as a swap as incentive to go with Payment Systems.  Upon request, the contract was emailed and unreadable, twice. The signature I gave, I was told was for the processing agreement, not a lease. Contacted the sales rep, who quit answering calls.

The wireless machine did not work, ever. Every night, a "batch" repeated over and over, with useless data, lost revenue from never uploading the charges entered, wasted paper and from what we could understand, a charge for every attempt to batch, through the night. We had to discontinue and take it offline. The in-store has never taken a chip card except as a swipe.

They had a PCI compliance company review and charge us an annual inspection fee, (we passed the instore that they reviewed) to stop the monthly non-compliance fees. I paid it. Although numerous calls and proof given for compliance of the machine that is in store,  we still are charged non-compliance for the wireless machine that does not work, never worked, never had a charge placed with it. They were told it was useless and they know it is useless. They could not program it. Because it is associated with our company we are still charged just shy of 30.00 monthly for non-compliance.

The lease company and the processing company know it does not work.  They offered to try to adjust our in store machine for chips, if they could raise our rates. No assurance of the event wireless machine.  They later quit that wireless machine, or not! Payment Processor could not be sure?  No assurance of anything working even after an extreme debit rate increase would be in effect.

I tried numerous times to gentlemanly resolve this issue. The event, leased machine never worked. (VX 680) There is a certain implied liability, even for a lease that the leasor company agreed to finance, that leased equipment is functional. I was invited to a class action suit. I thought as business professionals we could resolve this out of a court.  Wrong!  Never even a call! No effort other than Pay Us has been any resolution.

Worst experience I ever experienced in 40+ years of business.  I just finished a phone call with the payment processor. Got a notice in the mail.  Customer disputed a charge. We were chargebacked. We gave proof of payment. OK, they say we were credited the customer amount chargeback. June 2017 from an April issue that had just been credited.  As usual, No records I can understand showing on a statement that we were credited. No credit dates on the statement. Just a letter saying it will be or was done.  And no records of the $50.00 chargeback fee ever returned either.Daily deposit amounts charged never exactly balance with the amounts credited, though we thought we opted for a monthly discount, not a daily.  This misunderstanding created another cost you can see below.    I am done.

Investigating this further, I had another almost $70.00 fee chaged my checking account. I thought was part of processing.   Turns out, They promised a flawless compliance switch. For 3 years, the switch was never done and I have been paying another fee to the guys they replaced.  Payment Processing CSRs are friendly but have no authority other than following company rules.

This is unfortunate. Beware and use the Internet to find more reviews. Don't take this complaint alone. And do business with a rep that has been in business with the same provider for over 3 years. Watch for what they can possibly do without your permissions, protests, or voice. Look out for those clauses that allow them unlimited availabilty of changing your contract, unilaterally. Or for automatic increases for "free" temp services.  I will never sign another such contract.
