Hello, I have researched ameriplan for some weeks now and I am very interested in the company. I have a representative that I am currently working with she is showing me the ends and outs of the company. However, I just ran across these comments about the company and now I am really concerned rather or not I should join. Should I take a chance? or should I not waste my time or money? take into consideration that I am in ypsilanti michigan and not texas.I am not sure if that makes a difference or not but it seems as if majority of the complaints are coming from the southern region. Thanks for your time and feedback.

Tom, go to the BBB website and read what they really say about the problem in Montana. Then you will know what the BBB actually said. Don't listen to what ameriplan tells you what the BBB says.

I'm an Executive Sales Director with AmeriPlan USA and I've been with the company for three years. It's the best decision that I ever made, and well worth the small $50 fee each month. I make double that every day, thanks to AmeriPlan. To Frank... Get your facts straight! Here is what the BBB states, concerning the Montana problem: "AmeriPlan and the State of Montana are currently in the process of resolving several issues in that state that were caused by certain failures on the part of a contracted AmeriPlan Health network provider (Beech Street). These issues only affect AmeriPlan members in the State of Montana, and do not affect AmeriPlan, its members or providers in any other states. It is expected that a favorable resolution will be reached in the very near future." Tom

Very high rating with the B.B.B.? NOT! Jim wrote: Ameriplan is located in Plano Texas and holds a very high rating with the B.B.B. The following is from the web site of the BBB of Metropolitan Dallas: Ameriplan U S A, 5700 Democracy Drive, Plano, TX 75024, (469) 229-4500 On July 21, 2006 the membership was suspended due to recent government action involving the business's customer relations which indicates a significant failure of the business to meet standards of conduct expected of a BBB member. The matter will be reviewed by the Bureau's Board of Directors at its next meeting on August 14, 2006. Government Actions On July 18, 2006, Ameriplan USA Corporation was the subject of a Temporary Cease and Desist Order and Opportunity for Hearing issued by the Montana State Auditor. Among other provisions, the company is ordered to stop selling its medical care discount cards in Montana without a certificate of registration; stop misrepresenting that there are contracts with certain medical providers when no such contracts exist; and stop promoting a pyramid scheme. Hey Jim--what's going on with your ?great? company?

If this person has your bank account number and is making monthly withdrawels from it, in order to protect yourself you need to go to your bank and close this account, and open a new one so he does not have your account number. Otherwise you're going to continue to get the monthly charges. What are they supposed to be for, anyway? Also, file a complaint with your State's consumer protection agency / Attorney General's office.

I have been with Ameriplan for seven years and find them to be an exeptionally strait forward company. The address and phone number you show on your complaint are not Ameriplans. If you signed on as a broker you would have recieved a kit with all the contact numbers and information about making money within a few days. If you did not and do not have a broker number then the person who sold you the brokership scammed you, Not Ameruplan. If you are a broker you may call them at 1-469-229-4501 and they will fix any problems you may have. If you recieved a broker kit it specifically tells you that you may cancel your broker or membership anytime with thirty days written notice. An email is not sufficiant. One time in seven years I did not recieve a check I was expecting. It had been lost in the mail, I called and onother one was cut right away. Unfortuanatlyu there are bogus reps out there that will try to scam you anyway they can and some may be using the Ameriplan name to do it. That does not mean Ameriplan is at fault. Ameriplan is located in Plano Texas and holds a very high rating with the B.B.B.
