Ameriquest Mortgage Company ripoff runaround fraudulent billing ruin my credit nonresponsive idiots Orange California
I just refinanced my home loan in December - Ameriquest got the loan from the company I used. My first payment was scheduled for February 1st. I sent 2 "biweekly" payments (clearly marked as such) in January, again in February, March, and April. It was not until March, and after many annoying phone calls from them telling me that I was "late" on my payments, that they finally told me that they do not accept "biweekly" payments. My 2nd payment in January (the 19th) was placed completely on principal, even though I had marked it and the payment coupon as "biweekly" payment.
They have ignored repeated attempts and requests by me for them to correct that. Instead they have chosen to report me as late and constantly charge me late payments!!! How convenient for them, ha? I am refinancing with another company now (just 5 months later) so that I can be rid of these idiots that never listen to the customer and refuse to admit their own mistakes! I am also turning them into whatever agency governs lending institutions!
