AMERIQUEST MORTGAGE COMPANY; BETTER NAME FOR THIS SO-CALLED LENDING COMPANY SHOULD BE AMERITHEFT. THESE LIARS DID NOT DO ANYTHING THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO. FIRST OF ALL I WAS QUOTED A 6% INTEREST RATE WHEN I GOT TO CLOSING TABLE IT WAS 8%. NEVER RECIEVED A GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE DID NOT GET ANY CLOSING HUD STATEMENTS UNTIL THE DAY OF THE CLOSING. AT CLOSING I WAS SHOCKED AT THE UNGODLY FEES I WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT. WAS CHARGED FOR AN APPRAISAL AND DID NOT GET A COPY IN MY DOCUMENTS. AFTER CLOSING I DID NOT GET A CHECK UNTIL 5 DAYS LATER AFTER BEING PROMISED NEXT DAY. POSTED LATE PAYMENTS AND MADE BAD REPORTS TO THE ALL THE CREDIT BUREAUS. DID NOT GET ANY CLOSING PAPERS TO ME UNTIL THE DAY OF THE CLOSING. WHEN THE CLOSING DAY CAME THE TITLE COMPANY WAS FAXED DOCUMENTS THAT DAY. WAS CHARGED ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR CLOSING. THIS COMPANY ALONG WITH ALL THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE IN THE HOUSTON TX (WOODLANDS AREA) NEED TO BE FIRED FOR BEING LIARS THIEFS AND SORRY LOWLIVES. YOU ARE ALL SCUMBAGS AND SCUM OF THE EARTH.

Ameriquest agreed to provide over $295 million in restitution for past customers

Hello Taylor Ameriquest entered into a settlement agreement with 49 state Attorney's General to resolve predatory lending allegations. Ameriquest agreed to provide over $295 million in restitution for past customers. Of the $295 million, $175 million will go to eligible customers who obtained mortgages from 1-1-99 through 4-1-03. It was also ruled that they must disclose all fees prior to the customer signing any paperwork. I don't know when you entered into your mortgage agreement but, try contacting your AG's office. Hope this helps.
