Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I made the mistake of refinancing my loan through Ameriquest. They said it was all I could afford. The interest was terrible and the closing costs were $6,000.

The loan was terrible, so I found a Company to refi AGAIN, At least I could get away from Ameriquest. I told this new company that I wanted to get away from Ameriquest and they said they could do this for me. They lied. What I learned later is Town and Country is a big part of Ameriquest. They work together!

I got charged 6,000 more in closing costs and all they did was give the loan right back to Ameriquest. Both Companys lied about my income and where I worked. They added what ever they wanted to get the job done. Now I'm stuck with a loan that has me with penalties and charges if I change.

BOTH COMPANYS ARE RIP-OFFS

With all the complaints that are on this rip-off site that we have seen, we know what Ameriquest does. Even employees admit to them. They forge documents, appraisals, fake incomes, anything to get a loan and rip off the hard working people who are misslead by their loans. It is happening every day. Do what I did about my loan with Ameriquest. Contact the FBI, and the Attorney Generals office. You will get help. These theives with pencils have no conscous other than to make fat big paychecks. Just because we may have had bad credit doesn't mean that they should take advantage of us. At least we are not doing illegal tactics that will ultimatly have Ameriquest employees and management behind bars. Once again, the FBI and the Attorney General's office is a great start. I know it will help you.

Income & Appraisals. What they have done is fraud.

Ameriquest has a policy with stated income that you can make up someones income and job to make their loan work. I suggest anyone who has done a so called "stated" income loan to go see their lawyer. What they have done is fraud. I also saw appraisals coming back upto 60 days after the closing, completly inflated. This company could care less about your well being. Also, watch out for the prepayment penelty that they neglect to disclose, and don't be fooled into thinking the loan officer can re-do your loan anytime soon. Chances are your equity is gone and you have a 6 months worth of interest penelty to refinance. The Truth-

To all us good folks that have been ripped off by Ameriquest and affiliates, I think help may be coming our way because of the help of this Rip-Off website, and the dear editor who makes it possible for us. Ameriquest is starting to have the lawsuits against them in many states, and people are winning against Ameriquest, and their snakes - the Account Reps who prey on us weak. They are being investigated in many states for wrong doings, and their deceptive ways against hard working people who have made mistakes. They are theives without guns but use pens and pencils instead. I was burned by them but am fighting back like many others.
