Ameritrust Financial scam, Ripoff Clearwater Florida
This Company leads you to believe that they will offer you a $2000. line of credit if you send them $200 to start the card. They lead you to believe that this is a visa or mastercard. What they fail to mention is that this line of credit is only good for the items that they sell on thier web site. I was able to retrieve my $200 by calling my bank and disputing the payment. Thanks to this site and the editors comments for the info that they supplied. This made me successful in getting my money back.

We at Ameritrust Financial are only here to help people rebuild their credti score. There is no way that any representative would tell a customer that we are a Master Card or a Visa, that is illegal. We are however an unsecured credit card and that is how it will show up on your credit report. Any time you can show positive payments on an account it will help your credit. We are sorry that the customer feels like they were mislead. Since the bank has refunded them there is nothing left that we can do to help this customer. We do apologize for any misunderstanding.
