Late last year (2023) we were approached by Kelly Battle, or Battle Sands, and she made all kinds of fake comments about her company, Battle Sands. They were located in Texas, and had an office in Houston, and would be mining for frack sand in Beeville, Texas. And that she had a successful salt mine as well. We too an application, that was very week, but based upon her promises and claims, we allowed her to place orders. After a few orders, we realized that they were not payiong at all, and cut them off. It was at that time, that Kelly Battle started being very difficult to get on the phone. We sent our local salesperson out to their mine, to confront them, and the gate leading into the facility was chained shut with a sign on it indicating the lease had been cancelled. We continued to try to work with Kelly Battle, who kept coming up with the story that she had this mysterious investor coming to save their company. We continued to be as patient as we could, but eventually hired a law firm who tries to collect before they litigate, obvioulsy with the hopes that the debtor will pay.
The collection agency was given the run around with the old, "we should have you paid in a few days", for about 9 weeks. Finally, the collection agency confronted them, and Kelly Battle said, Let me put one of our investors on the phone to reassure you". She did, and he literally threatened to rape a male attorney, with our collectionm agency, all on a recorded line. This guy was just mentally deranged. This was clearly an effort by Battle and Sands to get our collection agency to stop trying to collect. It has had the opposite effect. There is now litigation being prepared, and this and many other avenues are being used to publicize their theft, as their are dozens of other companies, that they have ripped off.
Suddenly a week ago, Nelson Quintero, who claims to be the new majority stock holder of Battle and Sands began emailing. He claimed that he wanted to pay, but did not. He has paid no one, even employees we have recorded statements from. At this time, he has tried to block our collection agency's ability to email them, but failed miserably... And of course disappeared, never intending to pay any of the hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt they have accrued since they used a "500.00 special of the week" incorporporator in Austin Texas, and rented a one room executive suite in Houston and created this fake company. Spread the word people. They are intending to continue to rip people off.
