Ameritrust Financial Promised me a credit card, $2000 limit, charged me $200,no card and no refund Dunedin Florida
Phone rep told me I qualified for a credit card with a $2000 limit. I qualified for the card since I was trying to improve my credit. I was told a fee of $200 would be charged to my bank account as a down payment which I would receive back when my credit card was in my possesion. I was to schedule two debits from the bank at $100 a piece starting 01/30/2008 and 02/15/2008. My account was debited before the due dates both times, but before the last date was to be debited I phoned the company and of course did not end up talking to a real person, so I left message saying to stop any further action on this transaction and cancel my order. The next business day, the next $100 was extracted from my account, ten days earlier than was scheduled. Since that time, I haven't heard or been able to contact anyone nor received any mailings or cards.
