Amity Toyota Ripoff liars, Salesman pressure stupid and uncalled for behavior. Amityville Long Island
I have several complaints against Amity Toyota.
1st one was I bought a new 2002 Camry. I put down $8,000.00 down payment plus a $1,500.00 tradein. At the time of the sale I was told I had to take the vehicle that night or I would lose special financing that was offered. I did some checking and there was no special financing being offered. I wanted to bring my old car home to remove the new 6 CD player I just put in. I told them it did not come with my trade-in. They said I couldn't. The next day I spend 1 and 1/2 hours in the cold weather with the wrong tools removing the CD player. Not a good way to sell a car. I will never buy another car from them because of this.
2nd. I wanted a Fin put on my 2002 Camry and was quoted a price from Amity Toyota at the time of finance completion. I called service a week later and they said I had to order it from parts. They transfered me to parts and parts said it is not available from Toyota yet go to an aftermarket dealer instead. How could I be quoted a price?
Amity is to concerned in selling cars than being nice people.As I said I will never buy another car from them.
I have many more complaints about this dealership but not worth my effort to write them. Find a good dealership.
