A victim of a scam via First National Credit Services and their many notorious akas... I was well prepared when I received a phone call from this company (one of many).
Was contacted today by a Mr. Miles from Prime America. Before he could even get out his spiel I shot off questions about the comapny... Name? Adress? Reps name? Contact phone number? How much money do they want to charge? Are they related to yada yada yada. Immediately the rep became defensive and said he would ahve to have his supervisor return my call. His uspervisor's name he said is Mr. Gates.
I asked for the address of the companyand was told he would have his supervisor call me back. I asked if this company was related to National Credit Services, and he refused to answer and said he would have to have his supervisor call me back.
He insisted that I verify my mailing address and I refused saying I wanted more information. He told me he did not have time to go over all the details with me and would have his supervisor return my call.
I told him if he didn't have time to go over all the information with me, then he should take my name out of his database. He informed me he would be taking my credit as well!! I told him I would not be subjected to threats over the phone and his comment violated my rights on more than one level.
I asked to speak to the supervisor and again... he said he would have him call me back. I asked again for the information on the company's address and he said that he would have someone else return my call and hung up on me. The number on my caller ID that the call came from was: (416) 595-9975. I called the number back, received no answer, and after 12 rings hung up.
Obviously this company has some legitimacy issues.
