Andrew Patrick Henry was commissioned to paint my motorcycle oil tank. I found out through working on this simple job that he has a major problem communicating. He wound up changing the agreed color of the dropshadow because he was angry he agreed on a price that was in retrospect too low for the work done. He tried to scam me a few times through this easy project.
I originally told him my budget was under $200. He offered to do it for $175. I thought great. He seemed friendly and the samples of his work were flawless. A day later I told him I didnt need both sides of the tank painted just one side. He said it would be the same price. I said I dont understand, it is half the work now. He finally agreed to do 1 side for $130. He sent me a sketch and we e mailed the agreed colors of the words, and drop shadows.
Well, the sketch looked great. There was some talk about what we were going to do with the background. He started getting grumpy with me because he didnt understand me. I told him to please take a pic of the tank when he was working on that part and I would let him know what I thought. Well he didnt send me anything and I asked him for an update. He sent me a back a pic of the final job done with the wrong color in the background and the top of the letter T too big for the letter.
At first It looked off to me but I didnt want to cause any waves. He seemed kind of psycho like he would have just thrown the tank in the garbage. He had my money. A couple of days later I e mailed him nicely and told him I was unhappy with the job. I asked why he changed the drop shadow color and why he made the top of the letter T alot bigger than he showed me a proof of. He had no answer other than. "He creative freedom to do what he thought looked good and that it was just an oil tank and it will be fine."
I asked him to fix the paintwork if I shipped him back thre oil tank and offered to pay the original price less what I already paid. He told me he was done with me and I should fina another artist. I now have to pay someone else to fix with this a*****e did because the little b***h doesnt have experience with customers and just quickly rushed a sloppy version of what I asked for. I highly reccomend an investigation of this scam artist. He has a picture of my oil tank on his facebook page. What a terrible experience. This is his address.

It is very true that this customer did not get exactly what he had in his mind as the artwork he wished for. Andrew is an amazing artist. I have commissioned 3 pinup girls from him so far and they were amazing. He did them in his style and the way he thought was correct for the time period. He has received numerious awards and is very quickly becoming famous for his work. The artwork you had done is a work of art and you will one day realize that you got an early work from this soon to be famous artist. From what I know recently he is about to be the topic of a movie staring Anna Kendrick. You paid an artist to be an artist. Andrew Patrick Henry is an artist...

This ripoff report is false. The guy who wrote it is a slanderous fool.
I know Andrew as a talented hard working and honest individual.
