ANDREW WEBER wutt! creative, continually and blatantly lied to me for more than 3 days straight - until i called him on it and he surprisingly admitted to it. I have it all in the email chain below, from the time he responded to my add on Craigslist until I decided to join RipoffReport.com and file this report.
Please read our email correspondences, START AT THE BOTTOM.

but why would keep setting deadlines and promises that you weren't going to meet. what was the logic in choosing to hold the work then being honest then and saying you wouldn't even be starting on it until wednesday after promising to have it done by the end of the day sunday

I was holding off not by choice but by requirement. I took your project at a time when several projects I was working on were seemingly on hold. I was inundated with said projects out of the blue, and due to their scale they had to take precedence.

I am not making excuses, simply answering honestly.

why would you want to keep holding on to the work if you couldn't or didn't want to do it?
what is the point in making me look like a jackass to the client? i really don't understand your professional logic

Bud I am not sure what point you are trying to make Derek Stonebarger of Los Vegas, Navada

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Wed, March 24, 2010

Well Derek now it is my turn. You can write all the s**t you want. I did nothing wrong. The only thing I did wrong was to take a job from someone like you. I am glad the person you are, showed it true colours (the canadian way) before I started the job. As I see you would have used me as you scape goat for not getting the job done right from the very beginning, Derek Stonebarger ([email protected]) Producer, Director, Screenwriter, Avid Artist of Vegaswood Studios, Las Vegas, Nevada, vegaswood.com.

You even admitted that to me in your e-mail that you would use me as the excuse for not getting the project done on time;

From: Derek Stonebarger <[email protected]>

Subject: Re: Just a note
To: Andrew Webber <[email protected]>

andrew be honest, you weren't going to take the money because you can't. you can't have a paypal account because you've had it revoked, they don't put up with western union crap. there are 18 files on ripoff about you you're not a nice person, i understand the scamming for money, that's humankind, but the wasting time and lying for no reason - what was that about... do you still think i'm going to say, okay well get the work done and i'll give you money or something, bro i'm not giving you money, why did you do the time wasting thing??? i already have an animator working on it. i'm showing the emails and report to the client to cover my a*s, so thanks for caring.

So Derek Stonebarger you have buried yourself by openly admitting that you will lay the blame on me. I bet Appliance Repair Experts (appliancerepairexperts.com) of Las Vegas, Nevada will be really impressed with seeing that in writing from you. So bro who is the scam artist now? I never took your money I told you I do not use Paypal from the get go. I did indeed have a paypal account but I abandoned the account as they are here on ripoff as well. Because that is what they did to me. I abandoned that account and my bank account is connected to it. I cannot open another Paypal account using the same bank account. You try to come across as an intelligent person but instead you go and ASSUME things and all it does is makes an a*s out of U and ME.

So again Derek Stonebarger I will say I apologize for falling behind. You see I work alone. I do all of my own work from scratch. I do not use templates or infringe on the copyright of anyones work. I do it all on my own. My work is original. As I said to you in the e-mail when I contacted you on Sunday at that time the big jobs I had, had been placed on hold so I started to look for more work. But come Monday all of a sudden the projects became active and of coarse had to be done like yesterday. I kept you in the loop as soon as that happened. At no point and time did I lead you on. You never lost contact with me, I was always there to answer your e-mails. You called me last night but my phone was out of time. You see there is such thing as a pay as you go phone. That is what I have. You can call my phone and leave messages but I cannot answer or retrieve them until I load my phone with more time. There is your lesson for the day. You learned something new. But I e-mailed you immediately to let you know. Shame on me for telling the truth. Shame on me for keeping you in the loop and telling you the time frame I gave you I could not meet. Shame on me for staying in continuous contact with you. I am such a fake and phony person. You see it does not matter even when you are honest with people you are still considered a scam artist a ripoff. Tell me bro where did I scam you or rip you off?
