i was looking to get a new android cellphone and save some money at the same time. So i searched the web and came across the website of Androidforcheap the site advertise that there cellphone or unlocked and can be used with any carrier.
I ordered a 4.7 inch capacitive screen 1 Ghz MTK6575 android 4.0 ICS 3G GPS WIFI single sim smart phone with 4G memory card color blue model # 2177 at a cost of $ 177.00 this was done on March 14, 2013.The following day March 15, 2013 i emailed in a change to the order to model # 2198 color black.
I received a conformation email that the order change was made. I received the phone on April 5, 2013 the model of the phone was changed but not the color. I also found out that the phone was not as advertised the phone only works with carriers that use sim cards, mine dont. So the phone is of no use to me.
I got in touch with paypal to fine out my options, i was informed that i covered under the so call buyer protection. All i had to do was send the phone back and i would be entitled to a refund. I shipped the phone back April 11, 2013 using USPS at the time of the mailing i asked the clerk could the packaged be tracked she informed it could with the customs form # on the receipt.
USPS only track domestic mail, if i knew this at the time of the mailing i would have used a diffirent carrier service such as UPS which is international, that deliver to china the country it was shipped to. USPS only tracked the packaged to the Jamaica sorting facility in New York. I informed paypal of the customs form tracking number.
After a few days i was notified by paypal that my dispute was closed due to invalid tracking information. I submitted the information that was given to me by USPS dont track international mail from point A to point B. And that i should contact the seller.
I sent adroidforcheap a email on May 5, 2013 i got and email back on May7, 2013 stating that they would check the local post office to see if it had arrived. Since then i have made other inquirys May 17, 2013 and May 23, 2013 without any response. Don't be taken by Androidforcheap & Paypal Guaranted buyer protection
