Ann Haskett/Dan Haskett/Steve Willard/Betty Zhao Lending company stole close to $20k Internet Texas
My fiancé and I went through Steve Willard to get a loan for a home. We did the appraisal the inspection and put down the earnest money. Everything that was asked as if we were going through conventional lending. We just did not have the credit to go through a normal lending company. Our realtor spoke with Steve and he was extremely convincing. So we paid him $2500 to start the process. If we were not approved this was to be refunded. We were approved and everything was going smoothly. We just needed the down payment for the house which was another $13k. We wired the money to an account in Ann Haskett’s name. On the day of closing we received no response from anyone! Finally at noon we were sent an email from the finance lady named Betty Zhao stating we were no longer funded and our money would be refunded along with the money we were out for the inspection etc. We were told that we would receive that by the end of the month. It has been multiple months now and we have had no response to them. This has left my family in a huge bind! We put notice in on our condo and were homeless. Our family had to move in a hotel for 2 weeks before we could get in a rental house. These people are heartless crooks who are selling a dream to families to get in their dream home. Not sure how they get away with this when there were so many parties involved such as the realtors, and the title company etc.

The same thing happened to me as well in Aug of 2017. I want this guy taken down. Please either email me, I will leave email at the end of this comment, or contact the Lewisville police department and ask to speak with Mike Moore about the investigation on Dan because they need all of the witnesses they can get also you can contact Lori at fox 4 news they also are investigating him.
