I will be as kind as I can as I respond to this post.
It was Irma Preacher's amazingly poor business skills cost her $150.00. I have been doing business in this manner for almost 10 years and I do everything in my power to make sure that I fulfill my obligations.
Irma Preacher ordered rings from my site on April 19, 2010, I shipped out her order 10 days later and emailed her about that shipments delivery status. I actually remember this order due to the unique sizes of rings that she ordered.
Irma Preacher's first contact with me about her non-receipt of her order was on January 3rd of 2011. This means that I did not receive her complaint about this order for 8-1/2 months. That equals out to 34 weeks or even better, 238 days.
The US Postal Service only keeps tracking recedes for 6 months.
I did lose the postal receipt and that is my responsibility, I only had my visa receipt from the USPS. Had Irma Preacher contacted me with-in 6 months I may have stood a chance of tracking this package and figuring out what happened to her package.
In short, I have no way of knowing if this package was lost or was delivered to the wrong address or delivered correctly and just misplaced.
I will take full responsibility for any order that is lost IF and only IF the person that the order was shipped to keeps their end of the bargain. If Irma Preacher had contacted my or even PayPal in a timely manner her order would have been re-shipped or her money been reimbursed.
I am unable to confirm the loss of this package or track it in any manner. At best Irma's poor business skills cost her this order, I choose to believe this and not the worst thoughts that come to mind.
34 weeks to complain about the loss of an order is 10 weeks to long for me to do anything about it.
I think that 6 months is more than fair...
Sincerely, Anne E. MItchell
