Having done business with this company and it's owner - Harry Raymond in the past I ordered $26,000 worth of re-sawn antique flooring in September 2007 with a 50% deposit. In November they contacted me by phone and email saying my order was ready to ship and send the balance. The funds were sent and the company did not reply to repeated calls and emails until February 2008 when I hired a private investigator to confront them. Harry Raymond apologized and said he was having financial problems but the order would be filled. After numerous promises he still has not filled the order and will not return phone calls.

Do not trust this person or business.

Harry Raymond Should Be In Jail

I have also been affected by the improper business practices of Harry Raymond and the Antique Wood Company. My ex- husband worked for his company and it was court mandated that my childsupport be withdrawn from his weekly paychecks. Harry took the money from his pay each week and did not forward it to the office of childsupport. After four years of court hearings, Harry still has not paid what is owed to me. He owes me over $60,000 in a judgement that was awarded to me. I am a single mother with three kids beacuse of Harry Raymond I have lost my house to a foreclosure. He has made my life a living night mare - my savings in gone, I have additional debt because of this case, my family has been torn apart. I will never forgive this man, he should be in jail for the countless times he bounced checks to the office of childsupport, that I had to pay back until he made good on the check. The months without those funds made me really behind on my bills. Now all I can do is try to collect my judgement and rebuild my life. Over the past year, Harry has made no attempt to pay me even a penny of what is owed to me.

After many delays and problems resulting from a large outstanding receivable, Harry Raymond was able to fill my order. It took 6 months longer than planned but we installed the material in late May 2008. Harry Raymond and Antique Wood Company have promised to reimburse my expenses related to this order. I hope and believe they are returning to normal operating procedures and will provide a superior product. Jim in Dallas, Texas
