Hammond,#2Consumer Suggestion

AOL members will always be vulnerable to these charges. My husband and I were with AOL years ago, and had the same exact problem. Hopefully, you are NOT wit AOL, so the current problem might not reoccur. AOL Netmarket is one of 38 other names this corporation aliases. The formal name is Trilegiant Corporation, 100 Connecticut Avenue, Norwalk, CT, 06850. Mr. Robert J. Stevenish is the CEO and President. His numbers: 1-203-956-1000 and FAX: 1-956-8789 All specialize in "90 Day Free Trial Offers". You must call to cancel or they will automatically renew, on an annual basis. I suggest you WRITE, and get a "confirmation number" or "account deactivation-type code" as proof that you did cancel. It's not enough to just discuss it by phone. Insist on having proof of cancellation for future reference. "If you have a complaint against Trilegiant Corporation (AOL Netmarket), we suggest you send a written complaint to the State of Connecticut Attorney General's Office, 110 Sherman Street, Hartford, CT, 06105." This is from the onlineBBB Report. If you would like to review it yourself access: http://www.connecticut.bbb.org Then in the search, type in: Trilegiant Corporation. I also guess this is where you would fill out a complaint form as well. Hope this helps.
