Dear America Online: Billing Operations & Services
Hi, Billing Dept. this is $*%^* (*&^, (, Acct. No. ##########) I've been charged an extreme amount of money $573.48. Now when I talked to Janell during my cancellation you said there was no charge nor was owing anything because I called before the expiration of 50 days on the promo cd for 1099 hours as well. For some reason they have me confused with pricing plans that I haven't signed up for. Furthermore a supervisor Nitika along with other reps are stating that in fact that Janell did not cancel the 50 days 1099 hours plan but sign me up for a new price plan extending my usage to unlimited which was free also until December 23, 2004. I've been dealing with AOL free trials in the past if you check the records and will see such a plan that you are accusing me of I would never sign up for. If something is free I wouldn't sigh for a plan that I know would put me in the hole. Run the tapes to validate this. A grave mistake has been made and it wasn't on my end so I will appreciate you refunding my $573.48 in full which you know is ridiculous for anyone to have for internet charges these days. I've talked to several representatives who've promised me my refund over the phone. I've talked to Austin, Geetanjali, AJ, and others. As a result of this mix up I've accumulated at least $200 in bank fees.
