Apple Movers Damaged Personal Property and grossly overcharged for very poor service Houston, Texas
COMPLAINT DESCRIPTION On or about the 18th of July 2010 we hired Apple Movers to move a 3 bedroom house about a mile away to our new home. All of the items were boxed and theybwere instructed to place them in the garage for time sake. (the hourly fee was $109.00 per hour) The estimate given to me was 4-6 hours, nine hours later with lots of damage and incomplete reassembly, we are very disgrundled customers. Everytime I call or email this company i get no return correspondence. Timing Issues 1. It took nine hours for a simple move 2. They informed my wife that they could not reassemble my bed due to size they spent 2 hours trying. When I got home from work it took me les than 15 minutes to complete the job 3. They spent over an hour looking for the bed rails that they had left in the garage Damaged Items 1. The cracked my Big Green Egg Cooker during the move. This ceramic smoker is over $1000.00 to replace 2.drywall damage on my stairwell that happened during the move 3. Lost screws to guest bedroom dresser mirror I am very disgusted with this company as they are not attempting to resolve this issue
