Ripoff Report Verified REVIEW:

EDitors UPDATE: Positive rating and recognition has been given to APX Alarm for its commitment to excellence in customer service.

Ripoff Reports discussions with the company have uncovered an ongoing commitment to total customer satisfaction. You can expect to have any questions or concerns that you have with them to be answered and resolved in a timely manner. They have shown us their customer service process, and it reflects a desire to serve customers, as well as fix problems.

The company's management specifically told us about how their job is to simplify lives and help people to live intelligently. The management really wants every person who buys a system to feel valued. The concern for each customer's experience starts at the top, and is reflected in the action of every employee they hire.

The company also works to monitor their sales and customer support calls to see how they can be improved. They use these calls as examples for employees in training. Currently, Vivint is working to make changes to their contracts to make things easier for their customers as they have found that many of their complaints stem from feeling misled or customers paid fees they did not feel they authorized.

apx alarm  The Mormons Should be ashamed of how this company is ran in their Mormon City.  If it is also owned by a Mormon the owner need to be kicked out of the church. Salt Lake City, Utah

I signed up with this company back in 2007 and signed up for a 3 year contract, and after that was up it was suppose to go month by month.  Well yesterday I called to cancel my service and they refused to cancel my service and said they locked me in for another 3 years without my signature or anything being mailed.  If this is owned by a Mormon or if the Church Of Jesus Christ and Ladder Day Saints owns this they should be ashamed of owning such a fraudulant company.  I hate to say this but I know alot more about the Church of Jesus Christ and Ladder Day Saints then most people here in the South know about since I grew up in Portland Oregon where there was alot of my neighbors and friends that was raised Mormon, and I learned at a young age just because you are suppose to be involved in one of the most holyiest churches in west of the United States does not mean you are an honest person and neither is this company that is in the big Mormons City of Utah and all I can say is the head of the Mormon Church or the Bishops should be ashamed of this company in their city.  I will also be going to my bank and having this apx company blocked and I will also call the BBB and file a complaint.  Also if I have to I will call some of my Jack Mormon friends and find out if they can get some more information on this company.

I don't see why you would want to cancel with such a "heavenly" company?

I'm even more confused as to why they wouldn't let you cancel.  Certainly youre getting way more "service" than youre paying for.  Such a deal!

My contract with APX/Vivint says it is for a 42 month period and may be cancelled by either party "No later than 30 days before the end of the original term or any renewal term".

Maybe instead of attacking Vivint or the Mormon Church, the state of Utah, the Bishops, the Pope, the President of the United States, or the entire population of the United States, you should take the time to read your contract...it's very enlightening.

I doubt you've been ripped off.  BTW, even if nobody told you about this or you were told differently, the WRITTEN CONTRACT you signed, governs...you did read it, right, and you just forgot?
