Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I went to my bank last night to take money out and found out i had no money. I called the bank of course. They told me they had a court order for a garnishment on my account. As I was talking to them, my son brought in the mail.In the mail was a legal looking document from lawyers Erskine and Fleisher representing Arrow Financial, LLC Washington Mutual bank.

I called the lawyers.  They told me I had opened a crefit card in 2005 and never paid it. I know I never did this.  I asked them to tell me why I never received mail from arrow financial or Washington mutual. I have never received a letter of intent that they were suing me or a letter offering to settle or anything! I don't understand how these people took me to court and got a judgement against me when I was never even there. I had no chance to fight this!

This company ended up garnishing me for $3,300 even though they say the credit card was a $300 limit credit card. Is it even legal to do this without me ever having to appear in a courtroom? When  I asked the lawyer to provide me with something showing my signature when I applied for the card or anything showing my signature on the purchases they say I made, of course I get the legal mumbo jumbo and run around.

End result is if I hire a lawyer to fight this, it may take years to get my money back and a lawyer will probably cost me more than the garnishment. Not to mention the embarrassment I encountered when I went to my bank where I have been banking for 11 years and they treated me like a scumbag. No matter what I do or the time I spend or whoever I talk to, I will never see that money again.
