04/29/16: still waiting for the refund of my photo shoot deposit since he messaged me 5 hours before our photo shoot was scheduled that his plane wouldn't make it to NYC from FL in time.
He said that he "will refund the deposit for" me that day. I'd ask about the status and he'd tell me he'd call
tonight or tomorrow but he has never called me back. Only when I've asked would he tell me anything. Ptah has told me numerous times now that he'll get the deposit back to me tonight or tomorrow or in a couple of days.
Each time, obviously nothing has come through and I've had to call him several times for him to pick up and explain that he was waiting on money from people to pay me back. Basically, he lied every time he said he'd pay me back because clearly he had no intention when he was still waiting on money from other people.
Nearly a month of waiting and, after asking again about the status, he texts me that he's "$1800 backed up in deposits for shoots that should have happened." He could have told me that from the get go instead of stringing me along telling me he'll pay me back since the whole time he knew that he couldn't/wouldn't.
Clearly, he's still engaging in photoshoots and, depending on the package, a deposit would be $200-600 so just one successful shoot would be enough to pay me back immediately. In fact, with as many photos as he likes to post, it would take a maximum of 9 shoots or a minimum of 3 shoots to pay back everyone he owes, which go back about 4 years apparently with other hoodwinked models.
I honestly don't think it's a matter of whether or not he can pay me back. He just conveniently likes to forget and hopes that you'll let it go as unfortunately many other models have.
