Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I purchased furniture from Ashley funiture July 2011, I took vacation time off to have my furniture delivered at a time convienient for THEM as nothing is convienient for THE CUSTOMER!

When the furniture was delivered LATER than THEIR timeframe, it was missing pieces and THEIR employees (the delivery guys) were VERY rude and UPSET that I didn't want the furniture left at the house until they can deliver the other good pieces TWO WEEKS later!

I ended up leaving the furniture at my house because I wanted these people out of my house as I was alone and they really didn't care that they were in MY house being rude to me!!!! This furniture (a bed room set that couldn't be used because they frame is what was broken/missing) was STORED in my house until they can get back and fix it/replace the items.......

They should up with the piece and put the bed together, while doing that the employees accidently hit an item causing that piece to be chipped....Here we go again. I had to schedule someone to come out and fix that and YES another day to work around THEIR schedule.......

Well I scheduled them to come out THREE different time and EACH TIME they didn't show up!!!!! I had to schedule it within a FOUR hour window....so for FOUR hours I waited at home for NOTHING.....I contacted Ashley Furniture customer service about 15 times to try and resolve this issue but I got tired of waiting for them to NOT show up. So I asked Ashley Furniture for a credit for the damage AND all the time I wasted for them not to show up! They were unable to do that but they were ok with me losing my hours of work time with no pay.

They finally agreed with BBB to give me a $100 credit (whatever) but I agreed. About a month later I still hadn't heard about the $100 credit so I called Ashley Furniture again and their left hand has NO IDEA what their right hand is doing EVER. They didn't see anything about a credit in their system so there I go up their chain of whatever....spoke to someone else who said she would give me the credit....never happened OF COURSE!!!!!

I purchased this all on credit with THEIR credit company I went on line to try and make my payments (one year no interest) and what do you know????? They had my social security number WRONG and MY LAST NAME spelled WRONG.....No surprise of course they can't get ANYTHING RIGHT! Here I go again..

I now have to contact their credit department who said they couldn't change anything until I MAILED THEM my ID and SS Card. Of course that is the smartest thing to do these days...put your ID AND SOCIAL SECURITY CARD in the same envelope and mail it to someone.....anyone I guess.

I not being stupid of course refused to do that and insisted they contact the store and fix it with my original paper work I completed July 4, 2011. They couldn't do that as it would inconvience THEM. Here I am again wasting my time with these people trying to fix THEIR problems.

They NEVER fixed my furniture, NEVER gave me the credit THEY promised, and they NEVER fixed my last name or Social Security number NOW they are THREATING ME for the money for the broken furniture they delivered to my house. Oh did I mentioned I scheduled them to pick up the furniture also and they MISSED that appointment ALSO????

Instead of fixing THEIR problem they just sent my account to a credit agency, REALLY? I did everything around THEIR schedule and here they are trying to rip me off by reporting me to the credit bureau! I have EXCELLENT credit THEY are trying to RUIN it.

Ashley Furniture's whole company DOESN'T care once they make the sale they are done! It's not about customer service it's about MAKING A BUCK! HOW SAD!
