I purchased $16,000 worth of furniture which took over 10 weeks to be delivered after I called and complained every day. The contract states approximately 4-6 weeks for delivery. Nothing is approximate about 10 weeks.

To top it all off, I still did not receive all of my furniture. To date, it has been over 12 weeks since I gave them $16,000 in cash and I am still waiting for 2 more pieces. These two pieces were holding up delivery so I made them split the order so they would deliver the pieces that were already in the warehouse. They didn't want to do this but I persisted. Probably because the extra delivery would cost them $60. Once they got my money, they stopped caring.

I couldn't even get my salesperson to call me back. I reached him one time and he put me on hold and gave the phone to one of the reps at the counter.

I never received any phone calls to inform me of any delays in delivery. I still today do not know when the rest of my furniture will show up. When I call the store, the individual I speak to always tells me that they will put a note in the computer for someone to call me. I have even spoken to the store manager and was told the same things but nobody ever calls.

When the delivery truck arrived, it spilled oil all over my driveway and I am in the process of trying to get them to come out and clean it up. The delivery drivers also left the empty boxes right in my front yard. What a nightmare! I should have searched for this website a long time ago.

I searched on the BBB and found similar complaints like mine. I got in touch with Aimee Crawford who is supposed to be the owner's assistant. She can be reached at 623 209-2700. I must say that she is the only person to call me back.

If any person out there is contemplating buying furniture from Ashley, I would not suggest it. But if you must, ask them these questions:

1. How long for delivery?

2. Over the past few months, what has been the average delivery time?

3. What are the customer service, store manager, and warehouse phone numbers?
