Aspire Visa ripoff Columbus Georgia
never heard of aspire visa until i got a past due notice in the mail they said i was past due 185.00 and i had a balance of $2,194.58. i don't know how i could have a past due bill when i haven't heard of them. i haven't gotten any statements from them or any other correspondence.

You could possibly have the case of stolen electronic identity. If this is the case, you might consider changing all bank and credit card account information. You would have to investigate further possibly through the Federal Trade Commission. Their site is: www.ftc.gov. They now have a whole section devoted to this subject. Two years ago, they used to laugh at the possibility. Not anymore, because many have prooven themselves innocent in the Courts. Ms. Gwen Clark is the Principal and Executive Correspndence for Aspire Visa. Again her number is: 1-678-258-5053 or fax: 1-888-237-6878 Here is their address: Aspire Visa Card Services 2405 Commerce Avenue, Suite 300 Duluth, GA, 30096 BBB has 408 complaints on this one. Here are some additional numbers: 888-790-9926, 800-348-8783, 888-565-5816. Now I want to give you these aliases, in case you have had dealings through these segments of the business: Columbus Bank & Trust, FreedomCard, My Points, My Points Rewards Mastercard, or Web Card. They are also a part of other unspecified Finance related businesses, as well as Sweepstakes, Contests & Games. You may have an association with them through one of these other areas. The expiration date for this information is a long ways off. They can't just up-and-bill you out of the blue. Demand billing statements, copies of your signature for 1-joining and agreeing to the terms of their credit card, 2-your signature on authoriztion for products purchased, 3-check, money or other payment copies, 4-ALL of your billing statements for the duration of membership or at the least for the past year, 5-full verification of your identity in their records, 6-your mother's maiden name, 7-your birthdate, and 8-your social security number, 9-a copy of your application form. If they can provide all of the informaton requested 100%, and you really don't know them, this might be stolen identity.This is happening more and more. The key would be in a record of signatures. Obviously yours would be different, and can be determined by an "Expert Witness" of this area. Someone would have to give a Driver's License number, that requires verification too. If they are not willing to reason or communicate with you, contact the Federal Trade Commission, through this Helpline: 1-877-382-4357. If all of a sudden, they say you don't owe anything, investigate anyway. Check your Credit Report and call the Federal Trade Commission to find out what measures need to be taken to keep them from hurting your Credit Report. In addition, insist on knowing why they chose to bill you. It can't be a spelling error, when they have your address along with certain other informaton. It sounds like you might be entitled to a free credit report, at worst you would only have to pay a $9 fee. I will only recommend Trans Union, some of the others are tarnished for now. Don't let them get away with placing your credit history at risk, and investigate this further, even if they try to back out. There may be millions out there paying them, out of intimidation.
