Beware of the the National Brokers of America working to sell Assurant Health insurance!!!!  They are TERRIBLE and there are plenty of reasons why:

1. This company actually does NOT provide a customer support telephone number to receive immediate assistance. When you call, you are always told that someone has to call you back and then you never get a call. The support agents provide their email addresses to you but they never respond to that either. Some people even gave out personal cell phones which tells me that this company has no way to properly track customer tickets& resolution. I am sure that my questions weren't being logged somewhere in a database for future reference. Highly suspicious and unprofessional.  

2. The salespeople you deal with proclaim that this insurance is comparable to all the major medical plans yet it excludes basic health care needs such as birth control and other common prescriptions and lab tests. 

3. They provide a matrix online that shows that you pay small amount like $10-$40 for almost any lab test, which is false information. Wait until the bill arrives. 

4. When I set up coverage, they told me my plan couldnt start for a couple weeks but their solution was to put a different plan in place for a couple weeks.  The billed me for BOTH plans month after month and then wouldnt address it.
