On  April 20, 2012 I parked my vehicle in Foster Village to get my prescription as usual it was not ready I left my car parked as I have done before only this time too return and found I had been towed. After walking around entire parking lot I finally found a sign not readily visible to public upon entering lot a sign of tow rules and regulations it states:

$130. Tow, $40. per calendar day storage $40., $40. vehicle entry, $55. winching & maneuvering, $4-. disconnect lingage.

I called the number listed on sign no one answered (201) 201 567-5330 until 7pm and party who answered confirmed my car was towed by company, then stated they are closed but will re-open in the morning from 9am - 1pm. I called from 9 am and got no answer. I had my daughter drive me there at 11:30 am only to find office was closed. I called repeatedly at 12:00 noon someone finally answered and said he was on his way to the office. At 1:00 pm no one had arrived so at 1:03 pm I called Englewood police department to complain that I was trying to retrieve my vehicle and as I was in conversation with police officer a caucasian male pulled up overheard my conversation and questioned with whom  was I speaking and I said police he then raised his tone of voice and threatened verbally if I didn't hang up and get my car which he was only going to give me 5 minutes to do so, or else he would not give me my car...I was so afraid and communicated this too the police officer who told me get my car and that I can file a report later. The man asked if I had cash and did I know how much it would cost to get my car back? I said no and asked how much did I have too pay to get my vehicle....he said wait here while he retrieve my receipt. He then opened the pad locked gate and returned with a yellow receipt with fees totalling $220. and I asked why that amount? He yelled he said again he was only going to give me 5 minutes to get my car and refused to break down the charges which the sign posted in parking lot where my car was removed displays $130, but my receipt stated this:

towing charge:  $130.
labor:                 $55.
storage charge:   $35.

Please investigate it's sad ripping off public Ilive on a fixed disability income. I took pictures the next day and too my surprise caught the tow company in full action towing more vehicles...
