I am here to add my two cents for this SCAM that this perfume company is doing. For one, I don't know what to call them, because they go by so many names, but the name that they used with us, is Atlantic Wholesale.

My gf saw an add in the paper talking about a FUN job, making $200-$500 a week. She called the number and got us both an interview that day.

We went to the interview and was interviewed together. We were told that we would be called back in for the 2nd interview if we were the few that was picked out of 150 people that were interviewed so far. Around 5:30 we were both called and asked to come in for the 2nd interview and to bring pen and paper and it would take about 2 1/2 hours.

We entered a room that was filled with chairs seated close to each other and there were about 30 people. We listened to the background of the company. How John Whitworth started the company and Mark Laracy was the master perfumer and how 15 new locations would be opened in the Va Beach area alone and they would hire and train the right individuals that they thought could run and manage these new offices.

After listening to this, people were then called back into Rich Young's office and was told if they were hired or if they were not. When my gf and I were called back, we were offered the job and we were both excited because we were given the opportunity. This was on Fri and we had to come in for orientation on Monday from 9:30-12:00- and don't forget that pen and notebook to take those bull crap notes on how to be FIRED UP and how to make it in the BIG TIME.

So Monday...we come to orientation, seated in the same room with about 15 other individuals. Meanwhile we are in a little room that is run down and dirty and the music is blaring and you can't even hear anything. Rich Young talked to us for about 15 mins on how we can make money and reach our goals and dreams, and then Matt Boren came in and taught the class for about two hours.

We were flashed money and was told that we would be given money at the end of the orientation if we showed a lot of motivation. So all 15 of us are screaming and clapping like complete idiots, every 3-5 minutes, trying to get motivated so we could be given money that later on was never given to us, because that would be saved for the next day, after we used the FFAAR system to scam our friends and family to buy bottles of perfume.

Whomever would sell the most bottles, would be given $1000 cash. My gf and I, in the meantime, thought it was strange how we didn't even fill out W-2 forms for taxes or how we were only told that we would be given money for how well we did.

Orientation was Monday May, 28th and tomorrow Tues, we are to go in with cash or credit card numbers of the sells we made, (which of course we made NONE.) But, in the meantime, before we sold any, we decided to come onto this website and do some research. And I am glad we did.

Thanks to all of those who took out their time to make everyone aware of these fake people. We have printed out a couple of reports and we are going to take them into the rest of the people that are in training with us, to make them aware of the scam. I don't want anyone making money for them. They are heartless ba***rds and need to be stopped. I have contacted a local television news show to see if maybe this is something they are willing to get into with us and maybe put them out there so they won't take advantage of any more people.

I will do whatever it takes to get them out of Virginia Beach. I wish I could get them out of all the states, but maybe if there are a lot of us that get together and get the word out, it will happen someday.

My gf and I went in with the copies we had made to confront Rich Young. Some guy we had not seen the first day of our orientation was there and ran to Rich, (because Rich was out of the office then), and Rich came in and started taking the papers out of everyones hand and asked my gf if she wanted to be removed or have the police called. My gf said the police was fine. (Of course he wouldn't call the police). Meanwhile, (I was able to still hand out papers, since he was dealing with my gf), and I was telling people that it was a scam, that they were going to go out that day and start selling in parking lots and stuff and wasting their gas money and putting miles on their car. The first question that we were asked when we walked through the door that morning, (we were greeted by yet another woman we had never seen before), she asked us if we were able to sell any bottles for the contest and then asked me if I drove my own car that day....hmmmmm.... After my gf went outside...Rich came up to me and was outraged. By then he had taken all the papers out of everyones hands that were reading it and was saying that the papers didn't have Atlantic Wholesale on them, and I told him it was because they change their name. I walked outside and peeked my head in the door to check if there was a computer and sure enough, no computer. We sat outside for about 45 mins to see if anyone would walk out and leave and no one did!!!! I guess Rich was too busy in there brain washing them and telling him what haters we were and how we were lazy and not good management material anyway. I put the rest of the copies we had on people's cars that I assumed was in the training class and while doing that, some of the guys we didn't see the day before were coming out in the parking lot. I went around to the other parking lot and sat there for about 5 mins and when I was pulling out to Rich was walking toward my car! I just made a left turn away from him to go out of the parking lot and he keeps walking toward my car, throwing up his arms and flipping me off. I pulled out onto the main road and then came home. LOL Flipping me off. If he didn't have anything to hide, why take papers away from the people reading them and why not explain that it wasn't a scam. Why be so outraged with me and flip me off while I am driving away?! If no one believed us at the time, let's hope after their day of merching that they went home and looked on the internet. As of yet, our local news has not contacted me back, but I wish they would. Oh well, we have done all we could do and we will see what happens. Good luck to all of those who have been through this experience.
