Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I received a random text message from a woman named Hassie Watts from Atlassian.  She invited me for an interview in Google Hangouts.  She provided me with a list of questions and she says to answer them as quickly as I can.  She briefs me on the company and the position.  I went to their website and it seemed legitimate.  They have a lot of partnerships and have locations throughout the United States and their headquarters is located in Sydney, Australia.

The part that had me concerned was the purchase of office equipment needed to do the job.  She said she will mail me a check and that I would need to deposit the check into my bank account to purchase the equipment.  She also told me that I need to purchase an Itunes card that cost $150.  What concerned me, even more, is that another woman from a different number messaged me around the same time, but it was with another company called Carolinas Healthcare System.  The lady who messaged me used an alias name as Crystal Jackson.  When I did an interview with her she also invited me to Google Hangouts and she provided a few things about the company, but she gave me the same list of questions the other company did.

I was told to come back in the morning.  The Alassian Company told me to come back at 8:00am CST and I spoke again with Hassie Watts.  When I started to ask more questions she became defensive and I finally said I do not want to work for them.  She said Goodbye and thanks for wasting her time.  She also called me stupid and a fool.

Please do not trust this company.  There are very few companies paying $35 or $30 an hour to do data entry work.  The interview didn't even require a web interview.  It is all fraud.  No company will require you to deposit a check or make you purchase anything.  Once they get the code from the Itunes card they vanish by blocking all forms of communication.  There is a number for this company.  If you want to take the chance.  I suggest calling those numbers directly to see if they are legitimate and tell them that you are in contact with the individual who says they are from the recruiting team.  I hope this helps anyone who is questioning this company.
