AT&T Great PORN-GRAB (your # billed for foregin porn site)
While searching the web, I stumbled into what I guess was a foreign porn-site. As soon as I determined where I was I immediately left. Unfortunately it was too LATE. They had already "grabbed" my dedicated computer # and the charges were on. I didn't know this was happening until I got the bill from AT&T for a whopping $187+dollars. When I called AT&T they said they could refund 50% of a call I never made, big of them wasn't it.
After I tried to contact them several more times they said I would have to speak with a supervisor, I left 2 more messages, but no one ever returned my calls. Finally I got in touch with them thru the "net" and they said " tough luck, you have to pay", I have been a custumer of AT&T for over 35years, but hey , they don't care about that either.
If you think AT&T cares about your loyality as a long time custumer, think again!! As long as they are making money from these porn-sites with their illegal trapping policies they plan to just keep doing it. The location of the country that billed for the call was CHAD, strange since that is a Muslim country were porn is prohibited by law. Guess AT&T will do anything for a BUCK.
Looks like we will be moving after all these years , stricktly because of the greed of this company. BEWARE this can happen to you or a family member and you won't know until it is too late , either.
