In November 2002 I got another phone for my fiancee who was fighting Lymphoma at the time so he could have a phone to make long distance calls to his family. On March of 2003 I got a bill for 367.48 He went over on his minutes so we changed the plan for him the day we got the bill. The person on the phone said he could start that day on his new plan which was the same as mine.

On 2-17-03 we got another bill and this time it was 441.84 we called back again and the person on the phone said it wasn't in the computer or they had no proof of him ever calling and changing the plan. She said they record conversations and he was not on the recording or on the computer. He was on the phone almost an hour with the person that supposedly changed his plan.

Now we owe 800 and something dollars because they say we discontinued our contract. He is in remission now and is working full time. But now we are trying to catch up on rent and other bills and hopefully soon we can pay this. I don't see how that person sat on the phone for so long and not record or put this in the computer.

I don't know what to do. I feel like if I call them again it will be the same thing so here we are with a huge bill we didn't need and we have to pay it.
