I purchased a new ATT model 8525 and was told by the ATT sales staff that I would be receiving my rebate in 6-8 weeks. I checked online on Aug. 24, 2007 because I thought I should have received my check by now. Upon checking the ATT website though, I discovered that I was sent the rebate on July 21, 2007.

Now I am learning to be a patient person and so I had given ATT the benefit of the doubt and gave them what I thought was a reasonable amount of time. But when I discovered that I was due my rebate a month ago I tried to send them an email inquiry and found that unless I had all the blanks filled in I could not send them their preformatted form.

Isn't that just like a big corporation, limiting access, so that not everybody can ask them questions or lodge a complaint. The blanks which I left blank contained acronyms which I did not understand I just wanted to find out when I could get my rebate.

I feel like the big corporation has screwed the 'liitle' guy again and how in the world can I convince a voice on the telephone that I never received my rebate. What chance do I have to get my hard earned money and not incur additonal wait times and 'lip service' from the phone company?
