A telemarketer contacted me claiming he could save me money if I switched from SBC. I had an unlimited plan at the time, paying one bill. I verified with him 8 times that I would be recieving the exact service for the price he quoted. He assured me.

What he really switched me to was long distance and local long distance but no local service. Instead of a flat rate $60 bill,

I ended up with a $160 bill SBC and a $90 bill from ATTand T. Then AT$T sent me to collections. I was unaware that I was still with 2 company's and he used jargon I did not obviously understand to lead me to believe that I would be recieveing the same service. Then when talking to AT$T, every person I spoke with on up the line all said there was nothing anyone could do.

They are all helpless! I still have not had this reconciled, but my aunt worked for ATand T for 20 yrs and is friends with the president. If anyone else wants a complaint letter sent with mine, please e-mail me. One nice customer service rep informed me that this happens all the time and to keep trying because someone would credit me.
