Fathers, Parents or anybody who cares about your children. BEWARE OF PETER J. MUELLER AKA: Fathers Rights Law Centers.
The following is my opinion of my experience only.
Do not hire this guy, or his law firm. They managed to get me to pay 3 times what I actually make per month. The mother of my child is taking out classifieds for sex parties and he said "thats not important" and refused to bring it up.
Ask Westerfield if thats important. Furthermore, he asked for several continuances which ended up costing me money because the Judge said we wasted the courts time.
The story goes on and on as to why he was the worst experience of my entire life.
DO NOT HIRE PETER J. MUELLER. I have talked to several other attorney's and they all said "that guy needs to be out of business". It is in my opinion he runs the Epitome of a legal chop shop.
FUnny thing is, his continuances add up to my exact retainer fee. Nice job, cute little operation.
Furthermore, not that it matters it turns out he has famous songs written after him.
"cant find a better man" by Pearl Jam is about Peter Mueller. THat is his step son (from my understanding) At each concert that song is dedicated to "the b*****d that married my mom"
FOlks trust me, if you care about your childre, find a different lawer

I am sorry that you felt let down. Although I would want it to be otherwise, when morality issues arise regarding a parent's fitness, our legal system is skewed to minimize scrutiny of social or sexual preferences and practices. The cause is undoubtedly explained in part by the recent emergence of anti-bias laws and legislation. As I trust I counseled you, absent reported abuse by Welfare Protective Services(C.P.S. - Child Protective Services), or criminality, one parent's sexual or social preferences have been given little attention in custody evaluations. I also want you to know that in response to your personal observations about my family and my travails as a father to seven wonderful children, I am the first to acknowledge that as a father I have often struggled to walk the fine line between providing for and guiding my family in the right direction. It is noteworthy that I first conceived the idea of a firm for fathers 25 years ago when I personally experienced during my own divorce the wrong-headedness of involving children in the adversarial chapters of the divorce process. Given that my son was then called upon to testify at a time when he was particularly vulnerable, makes it even more astonishing for me that through his huge talent he has been able to turn his horrific experience then into poetry that has resonance for millions of his generation today. And you can be certain that I took no prisoners when I sued the lawyers who chose to involve him then so irresponsibly. Although I did little in so doing to enhance my popularity among my peers locally, I can assure you that I would do it again and again -- and in fact have on behalf of countless fathers in the 25 years since. Yet despite it all, the State Bar of California and a contingent of my peers have approved and re-approved my long standing status as a Certified Family Law Specialist after passing the specialist examination on my first try along with the other 27% of those then taking the examination who passed it with me. And ever after I first heard the lyrics to "Betterman" I have continuously tried to be a better father and husband and lawyer and man. Perhaps if you choose after all this time to identify yourself and give it a try, I can show you how. Sincerely, Peter Mueller
