Auto Module Source Inc Rebuilt automotive computer ripoff Davie Florida
We are an automotive repair shop that attempted to purchase a remanufactured computer from this company. We ordered the computer through the company's website. Our Service Manager did not have a good feeling about how this transaction was being handled. He immediately called the company to cancel our order. We were informed that the order had not processed and we would not be charged. However, the next month our credit card was charged $399 for this computer that we cancelled, and did not receive. When we attempted to contact them we were put on perpetual hold and hung up on over and over and over.
Maybe these guys do have a legitimate business? But I would be VERY careful - they did not handle our transaction professionally at all, feels like a BIG ripoff to me.

My 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 truck was not charging the battery. New battery, new alternator, new batery temperature sensor, still no luck. The voltage regulator IS included in the PCM engine control module. I ordered a PCM module from AUTO MODULE SOURCE. They did not send one because the one they tried "Did not do well" when tested before shipment.
I recived the module installed it worked fine. THEN two day later not charging again. I called them and they IMMEDIATLY will no arguement sent a rplacement. NO CHARGES whatsoever. When the new one arrived I went out to install it. The original came back from the dead. I DID NOT install the replacement. 2 weeks later I am HAPPY as I can be. Tghis was a nightmare to say the least, and the folks at Auto Module Source did above and beyond to make certain my truck would be running as soon as possible.
I say " Thank YOU to all the folks at Auto Module Source". ALL this service DID NOT cost me one penny. My truck runs better then it has in years.
Auto Module Source did awesome for me. I highly suggest buying from them. Rebuilt by them, Flashed by them, and TESTED by them. PERFECT.

This Company provided me with a PCM for my Dodge truck. They were nothing less than professional. Prior to doing business with them, I had read this report and another one that were similar. They involved accounting problems. After reading all their positive feedback, I decided to try it out. They were stellar from the beginning down to the very end. They actually called me to follow up, so I am not able to understand why you were placed on hold and hung up on several times. Your review almost stopped me from doing business with AMS, which would have hurt me far more than hurt them. My Dodge, with a complicated problem, is now on the road and once again serving me faithfully, thanks to AMS. Their pricing for the product was far less than what any shop would have charged just to find out what it needed. AMS is a solid company and the best source imaginable for these products.
