Auto One Acceptance Corporation Ripoff unethical business dealings rude representatives and cruel heartless Managers Dallas Texas
I asked for my car to be refinanced so my outrageously high monthly payments could be lowered. I was told by Ms. Leslie Mosley I would not have to make a payment for 2 months and by the third my payments would be lowered. After 1 1/2 months of faxes and conversations, she was finally ready to submit my paperwork and said she would fax a response to my husbands work.
The following week I received notice from Auto One that not only had my paperwork not been submitted, but Ms Mosley hadn't been inputing in the computer all the conversations we had about the "amendment" except for one about a month after we talked the first time just saying I called to inquire about refinancing.
It gets better! They couldn't get a response from Ms. Mosley as to "why" for everything because she up and left on vacation. Now I was being told my arrangements with her no longer mattered and my account, now 2 months past due, had to be brought up to date in 4 days or my car was getting repossessed.
Instead of an apology for all this unprofessionalism, I got inquired as to if my apt was gated so the repo man could get in! I asked if they could just give me 2 weeks, (I felt that was the least they could do), but of course, they said no.
They even went as far to say maybe I should drop out of nursing school to work FT since I obviously can't afford it, (by the way, I work 16 hr shifts on the wknd). Then they asked if my husband works. After telling them it was none of their business, I told them he busts his butt with so much overtime to try to take care of the family. Then they said if he works as hard as I say he does, it should be no problem getting them their money.
I hope I can save at least one poor soul from doing business with these a!@#$%^&.
