I went online to look for a car.Autos direct in Brookpark,ohio had a car I was interested inI had my dealings with Julie Turner.She gave me that sales pitch,a lot of people are interested in that car,and she would need $500.00 deposit to hold it. I asked her what happens to my deposit if I don't like the car?She told me my credit card would. Be refunded in 72 hrs.Drove 1 1/2 hrs to test drive car.Complete lemon.I went back into office gave her keys and her plate.She goes,well? I said I'm not interested.I said  what about my deposit.She says we have plenty of other cars.I said no thanks.Again when will I get my deposit?She says no return on deposit.I stood their flabbergasted.I. Said you told me on phone I would get my deposit back in 72 hrs. I should have been aware when I read all the bad reports on autosdirect and all the people they shafted.I am a 63 yr old disabled Vietnam combat vet.I live on a fixed income .Fifty dollars is a lot of money to me alone being ripped off for $500.00.I never signed any contracts or any paper work for that matter.I would very much like to see a class action suit,and any and all means to expose their deceptive practices.

Since you used the credit card just dispute the charge. Since there's no contract signed they have nothing to go on. Tell them the card was only to be charged if you bought a car, which you didn't.
