I made a clothing purchase at Amazon.com on 11/26/13 using my credit card. On 11/28/13 fraudulent online charges started appearing on this credit card for a purchase I never made with a company I had never even heard of or had any personal/business connection with.
The fradulent transaction was a charge from Avangate. The transaction amount was $99.00 and billed to my credit card as avangate*gsa-online.de

You say you bought something on Amazon and used your Credit Card. So the only way that someone would get access to your Data is by a trojan on your PC or by the company dealing with your order.
That person who got access to this data is the one to blame and not Avangate or GSA as both have been victims of the fraud as well.
That said, I think it's unfair to even send the report in and blame us as a software company or Avangate as a payment provider. The fraud was recognised, money was chagred back but GSA and Avanagte are not the once having done any fraud.
