AVAS FLOWERS DECEPTIVE LOCATION, NOT A LOCAL BUSINESS..BUT A LARGE INTERNET MARKETER CLINTON New Jersey
I ordered flowers on 05/07/15 to be deliverd for Mother's day and the bouquest I picked advertised "same day' delivery..which was not really important...as long as they made it by Mothers day. My Mother just lost her son and I had sent a card out late as I've been ill but wanted to send something that would make it on time...so she did not feel so bad with nothing on that date...as she lives in NJ (and the shop advertised as being in a town 10 minutes from her) but then they scheduled me for 05/09/15...which was still fine...even Mother's day would have been fine...but today they switch the date to 05/11/15...a day after Mothers' day...when I called to cancel ...as it is useless after the Holiday...they told me that they are allowed to deliver 4 days after the Holiday,,,and I asked her where it said that ....and she replied on my Invoice...I rechecked my invoice and nothing on it...in fact said preferred date 05/08...possilbe dates 05/08-05/09. They refused a refund of over $100.00 and could care less if I called my cc company,,wrote this rip-off report or called the BBB! So I decided to write one anyway. First of all we were done with nation wide shops and I called the shop off their internet ad that said they have a location in Clinton, NJ..as this would have been a local delivery. When I called for a local number there is no such number and no physical shop in that location. When I found out I was dealing with an internet compnay...I cringed as we've seen the garbage they send when not local! So they lied....you will be billed by "FLORISTS TRANSWORLD DELIVERY" on your credit card. They said I waited too late and it's my problem....but then why advertise and tell me it wll make the Holiday?? Now there is nothing I can get to her by tomorrow....so yes...I told them DO NOT deliver them to my parents as they will be rejected and do not step foot on her property...so then the fellow offers me and credit on their service.....I told him he could do whatever he wanted...I am not agreeing to anything...and you are a fraud of a company..so we are watching the "pending' on my credit card...it is flagged and by some miracle maybe the charge can be cancelled ...but what they are doing is terrible!!
