Ordered flowers for a funeral of my best friend's mother from Avas Flowers, they assured they could deliver on time and deliver an appropriate arrangement.
The arrangement was delivered 3 days late, and it was sunflowers with a big bow saying "Get Well Soon" !!! When contacted Avas Flowers delivered the correct arrangement 4 days later.
Now 3 months after this I have an additional charge on my card fot $13.95. After calling Avas Flowers I finally got through to a supervisor. She tells me the charge is for having a wrong zip code on the order. (Highly unlikely since they delivered twice already and the zip code she tells me was on the address was only 4 digits. The web site won't allow you to enter a zip code with only 4 digits.)
Sending a Get Well Soon bouquet to a funeral is a highly innapropriate mixup, delivering late is poor service and charging more 3 months later is inexcusable. And is fraudulent.
Searching through Google shows that this is business as usual for these shady business people.
