Avenue Social are a bunch of crooks. I paid money for an iPhone app that they promised would take 12 weeks. It took 2 years and they "delivered" my app but it is terrible. Horrible. It doesn't work correctly, the Facebook Fanpage they developed to go with it never worked correctly. It is basically unusable. I tried to email multiple, multiple times and got nowhere. They paid me back only $5K, which was about a quarter of what I paid them to develop the app. They refused outright to pay me back for the Facebook page which never worked correctly. It never corresponded with the app. The content was full of typos. I found out that they outsource their developers to other countries, like Dubai, Pakistan which was never discussed in any of the terms.
Basically, I have an unusable iphone app, and unusable Facebook Fanpage and I am out about $25,000. The refuse to refund the rest of my money and said it was because the "goods were delivered." Yeah, they were technically "delivered" but the app looks like a child made it. It's horrible. Never, never use Avenue Social, or the other companies they have started to cover up what they have done in the past. Salsoft, LogoBench, Appisco, Social Jitney and Avenue Social are all run by the same crooks. They keep opening and closing businesses, and in the meantime steal money, deliver a crappy product and then refuse to communicate. Never, ever use these companies. You will end up losing your money like I did, and end up with a horrible product that is basically unusable and unmarketable.
I have reached out to them multiple times before communication stopped altogether.
