I now see that I am not alone in the AVS Media ripoff. It took less than 30 minutes for them to confirm my order and promise to send (within 24 hours) the needed registration information to activate their products.

I heve emailed a request to the 3 email addresses listed on their website multiple times and have yet to receive even the courtesy of a single reply. I also emailed the direct support link on their website and still no response.

I found an email address for an AVS PR Rep on another website. I tried emailing that address and got no response from that attempt either.

I think they have some good products but they are useless if they cannot be activated.

But I must say that every day our technical support group and sales group get thousands of email of different content and I can assure you that no email remains unanswered! It's our credo and a value we won't break. The common reason for so-called "no reply" from us is simple, it's anti-spam settings that don't allow our emails to come through. This is usually a case. I also advise you to check your spam folder and you may find several emails from our support team. Now about your contacting AVS PR Rep, as you're writing. Then you probably know me and my email address as I manage all PR issues in the company. I claim that I never received an email from you to my personal email address. I keep getting emails from users from time to time and all issues are resolved in the end. Again I'd like to repeat that our customers are the biggest value we cherish. So, yesterday I found your report on this website and look into the issue. Due to the lack of the personal info about you so far we found 11 registered users with the surname Sheffield and no one with the same surname who made a purchase in 2008.
