I went to the Gilroy store (Banana store #1721) on July 21, 09 (around 3.30 pm) to buy some clothes.

On that day, I was offended by the cashier named Andrea Bravo.

First, it is important to say that I was waiting on the line for about 15 minutes before being served. When I was on the line, me and other customer noticed that the cashiers (one of them were Ms. Bravo) were talking instead of doing their job.

Second, once it was my turn, and before paying for my items, I requested Ms. Bravo to make an exchange of some clothes that I bought days ago in a different Banana store. After that, she charged me for the new items. I usually do not exchange/return merchandise, and since she did all in one transaction (both the exchange and charging me for the new items), I did not understand very well what she had actually done. I asked her for an explanation. Before even replying me, she told me "What do you want that I explain you?". Then she looked at me in a very rude way (like saying "are you an idiot?"), and then she asked another person working (a latino guy who is fluent in Spanish) at the store to explain me because "she was not able to do anything else for me". I had never been treated in this way before!

I was really mad at her. However, right after she helped me she left her position at the cashier, and I was not able to tell her anything.

I think that she might just do not know how to treat people, since she looked quite young to me (around 17 or 18).

In any case, I think buyers that attend to this store should try to avoid this person at all times.

How is this a "rip off" exactly? Were you given the correct refund? Were you charged the proper amount for the new clothes you purchased? If so, this isn't a "rip off" at all. This is just a whinge about how you perceived you were treated. Obviously, your native tounge is Spanish, which is fine. Did you ever stop to think that maybe this girl thought that she couldn't do any more for you because she couldn't speak the language that you were most comfortable with and that it may have taken a lot longer and created MORE friction? In the end, this is "rip off report" not "rude people report". If she had decided to overcharge you, or swindle you on your purchase or refund, this would be a valid post. As it is, this is just someone whining over a perceived snub.
